Who we are

The 3rd South Carolina is a non-profit reenacting unit that is based out of the Columbia, South Carolina area. We have memeber throughout the state as well as North Carolina! We also galvanize at the 60th New York. This website includes both historical information on the the 3rd South Carolina Battalion as well as the 60th New York. To truly honor and portray these brave men, we must first understand the sacrifices they made. Also included is information on reenacting and how you can join us in potraying this valuable living history.

As me move forward in time, the 3rd is embracing various types of technology in order to help preserve the history and lessons of the past.
